    Hello anya,

You can able to decrypt the AxCrypt secured folder by navigating to the Secured Folders Tab from the AxCrypt app. Then Right click on the selected folder (which you want to decrypt) and choose the menu option Decrypt Permanently.

Incase the folder is not listed in the Secured Folder list, then you have to secure the folder again using the Add Secured Folder option from the right-click content menu.

You can decrypt the multiple/more of the encrypted file, first select all encrypted files and then right-clicking on the file and select AxCrypt > Decrypt

Or In the recent files tab, select all encrypted file then right click on the file(which you want to decrypt) and select Stop Securing and remove from list

Or You can able to decrypt the AxCrypt encrypted file by navigating File | Stop Securing from the AxCrypt app.

If you have any queries, please write to Support@axcrypt.net. we are happy to help you.

    Hello Russell,

The cleanup broom icon helps the user to clean and update the pending encrypted files. AxCrypt uses a more robust method for the automatic re-encryption, which sometimes means you as the user have to tell AxCrypt to do it. You’ll see the “Clean Up” icon. This indicates there’s something in need of “clean up”, i.e. re-encryption. So whenever you see the icon, please click it. Also, if we opened or update an encrypted file, we have to close the file and its opened application to complete the re-encryption process.

If you are added the new file in a secured folder, then you have to click the “Broom icon” from the AxCrypt app. now your newly added file is encrypted. work for local/network drives and cloud storage

Incase the folder is not listed in the Secured Folder list, then you have to secure the folder again using the Add Secured Folder option from the right click content menu. Now you can click the broom icon. Now your files are encrypted. work for local/network drives and cloud storage.

If you have any quires, Please write an email to support@axcrypt.net.

    Hello SunnyNonsense,

Sorry to say, If we show the thumbnail of the encrypted file(s), then we are breaking the file security/encryption. Currently, you can temporarily decrypt the exact subfolder and do your work. At the end just sign out or click the broom(clean-up) icon to re-encrypt all the files.

In the secured folder list, select the sub folder and choose Decrypt Temporarily from the right-click context menu option.

If you have any quires, Please write an email to support@axcrypt.net.

    Hello Judy,

You can able to decrypt the AxCrypt secured folder by navigating to the Secured Folders Tab from the AxCrypt app. Then Right click on the selected folder (which you want to decrypt) and choose the menu option Decrypt Permanently.

Incase the folder is not listed in the Secured Folder list, then you have to secure the folder again using the Add Secured Folder option from the right click content menu.

Instead of adding the parent folder, just add/create a separate folder for nonencrypted files, then the selected(which you wish to secure) folders to the secured folders list.

For example, Consider A is a parent folder and it has a subfolders B and C.  B and C have 2 subfolders each, named 1 and 2.

If you wish to encrypt Only C folder files. Then just add the C folder into the secured folders list.

If you do not want to secure the subfolders 1 and 2 of parent folder C, then you have to disable the Include subfolder feature. If Include sub folder enabled, AxCrypt will encrypt all the subfolder’s files.

Include sub folder feature designed to encrypt the subfolders’ files of the secured parent folder(s). If you do not want to secure subfolder files then just disable the feature. Also, You can keep the folders seperatly as per your need.

If you have any quires, Please write an email to support@axcrypt.net.

    Hello Ralph,

To change the account email, Sign in to the AxCrypt account site https://account.axcrypt.net/en/Home/Login  with the email address and then go to Security | Email to set the new email.

When doing the email changes, we have to be careful with the email addresses and its accounts. There must not already be such an account. If there is, please delete it first. – Means we can change the AxCrypt account email address to new email address which is not associated with any other AxCrypt accounts.

If you have any quires, Please write an email to support@axcrypt.net.
