Hello, I was wondering if it’s possible to view thumbnails of encrypted files through some more efficient manner than decrypting everything entirely. I have 50+ GB encrypted and wanted to be able to more quickly find what I’m looking for. Is it possible to perhaps have a thumbnail file that is then encrypted which I could decrypt and look through? Or maybe a different method? Thanks so much for your help.

    Hello SunnyNonsense,

Sorry to say, If we show the thumbnail of the encrypted file(s), then we are breaking the file security/encryption. Currently, you can temporarily decrypt the exact subfolder and do your work. At the end just sign out or click the broom(clean-up) icon to re-encrypt all the files.

In the secured folder list, select the sub folder and choose Decrypt Temporarily from the right-click context menu option.

If you have any quires, Please write an email to support@axcrypt.net.
