    Hello Chuck Zanone,

Do you have any screenshots? If yes, Please you can send a screenshot showing where the problem is, it often helps us understand.

Please note: Secured folder is a Premium/Business(paid) feature. Please check do you have a valid subscription(Premium/business)?

Please check your system connected with internet or not? If not, please connect it first then try the same.

Check your internet connection now start the AxCrypt app and credentials. Now you are able to see the Premium status on the AxCrypt application title bar.

Now you can use the secured folder option without any issue.

If the above doesn’t help, please write an email to our support team support@axcrypt.net.

    Hello Petronio,

AxCrypt 2 now use a single sign on model where the same password is used to sign in to our servers and to protect your files.

AxCrypt will use the AxCrypt account password to encrypt/decrypt the files. The account password is used/involved to encrypt the files with the AxCrypt app.

Sorry to say, AxCrypt 2.x does not support different password for different files feature due to some security reasons. Please refer our blog for more info: https://www.axcrypt.net/blog/use-of-different-passwords/ .

still, if you are asking any Queries, please write to Support@axcrypt.net. we are happy to help you.

    Hello Said,

Your encrypted files are encrypted in free subscription that means AES-128 bit Algorithm.

Now, Just open the Encrypted file(s) and update the content of the file(s) then save and close the file(s). Now your encrypted files) upgrade to AES-256 bit Algorithm(Premium subscription).

    Or

You can also upgrade the encrypted files from AES-128 to AES-256 by using the feature called ”Upgrade 1.x and AES-128 files”. You can see that option under the file menu. After choosing that option, you will be prompted to select the files. After selecting the files, AxCrypt will upgrade the encryption level from AES-128 to AES-256

If the above doesn’t help, please write an email to our support team support@axcrypt.net.

    Hello Richard,

AxCrypt will keep track on the opened encrypted files, to update and re-encrypt the same. If we opened the file and updated the contents, then AxCrypt will re-encrypt the updated file.

So after editing the encrypted files, we have to click the broom icon from the AxCrypt app to re-encrypt the updated files. We have to close all the instance of the encrypted file(s) opened application.

And the AxCrypt app will be checking whether the opened file and the corresponding application are closed or not? If closed, then the AxCrypt app will automatically update the contents of the file and re-encrypt the same.

Actually, we have to close the file opened application completely, to update and re-encrypt the file. Sometimes, we have to manually click the red Broom icon, to clean and update the pending files.

Please close the encrypted file and corresponding file, Please check the AxCrypt app every time, it will update the file, it’s then you can signout/exit from the AxCrypt app.

You can encrypt files/folders. But you or any other system application(s) should not interrupt the AxCrypt app during the Encryption/decryption process. If you or other third-party applications will forcefully stop the AxCrypt app during the process, then the AxCrypt app will stop the process. your files are pending to re-encryption in this location(C:\Users\’User Name’\AppData\Local\AxCrypt). please check this location. if you find any file you can copy the content and save the content in the original file.

The location(C:\Users\’user name’\AppData\Local\AxCrypt) is for the temporary decrypted copies of the files. Those will either be cleaned automatically at the earliest opportunity or when you click the red clean “broom” icon in AxCrypt.

AxCrypt works by decrypting files temporarily and then launching the appropriate application for the decrypted file, which thus is entirely unaware of AxCrypt. AxCrypt monitors the system for the launched app to exit, and when it detects this it will re-encrypt the file and wipe (overwrite) the decrypted file and then delete it.

Note: The temporary files will be removed as soon as the opened encrypted file closed/signed out from the AxCrypt app.

If the above doesn’t help, please write an email to our support team support@axcrypt.net.

    Hello Ephraim ,

Please first completely remove the AxCrypt app on your tablet. After that, you have to install the AxCrypt app.

We support Andriod v5.o and above.

No limit. You can install and login(with the same Subscription account) to the AxCrypt app with the n number of devices. But If you are the only person is going to use, then you can use it. Otherwise you need to share your account password to all users who are all using the same account. Sometimes this leads to security breach.

still, if you facing any issue, please provide more detailed information about the issue with a screenshot and write a mail to support@axcrypt.net.
