Password issue

First a 45kb jpeg file is not being accepted. Second I changed my password yet I have to use the old password to open files. I am connected to the internet. the AxCrypt program opens with the new password. Everything is Green. But when I select a file to open it requires a password. I put in the OLD PASSWORD and it opens. seems the new password is not syncing with the computer.

After changing your password, please try clearing the local AxCrypt data by following one of these steps:

In the AxCrypt application, go to File → Options → Clear All Settings, or
Go to Profile → Clear All Settings & Restart, or
Click the Switch User button in the sign-in dialog.
Once you’ve completed one of these steps, sign in to the AxCrypt application again using your new password while connected to the internet.
