    John

This causes AxCrypt to give the following error:

“AxCrypt.exe – .NET Framework Initialization Error
To run this application, you first must install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework: v4.0.30319
Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET Framework.”

But it seems the version I have (4.8.1) cannot be uninstalled so what am I to do?

Re-installing Windows (10 Pro) and all of my apps would take months!

I produce music and to just install all my plugins and instruments would take at least dozens of hours …

Or would the only option be to bite the bullet and try a Windows Recovery?

I’m desperate and any help would be greatly appreciated!
