Understanding Passwords

Can someone answer this-

When I first login to Ax it needs a Master PW to launge.  I then I encrypt a file and send it to a friend which I added to the share list in the program.  Will he need my Master PW to unencrypt it.  If so then my other encrypted files on my computer  will use the same password and be susceptible to that person if he gets on my computer, yes?

No, the recipient will not need your password to open the file if you’ve used the key sharing function. That’s the whole point ;-)

It would not be very useful if you were required to divulge your password…
