Today is the first time I’m trying AxCrypt. I have encrypted all files in one test folder. The files are easily identified as being encrypted because AxCrypt changed the icon. I like that, but the folder looks the same as before. To identify encrypted folders can they change in appearance as files do?

    Hi Smith,

    Thanks for your suggestion.

AxCrypt is a file encryption software not a drive encryption software.

AxCrypt will encrypt the folder inside files only. It does not encrypt the folder itself. That’s why the folder appearance is not looks like a file.

    Keep AxCrypting….Have a Nice Day…)
