Problem with a file..old version open

for years i’ve been creating a text file with all my passwords that i encrypt and update regularly and save…and today i’m in for a bad surprise..it’s opened on a 2021 version…what can i do? i’m really annoyed

Sorry English ain’t my native languageI ment that the file in question opened but not on a recent backup but much older, and I always use the same file named : ‘codes.txt’ but then I came across a very old version … containing a lot of things that I had deleted long time ago! consequently all my recent passwords … bank … taxes … etc. … gone ???? what to do?
