Hi, Will a 64-bit version for Catalina be released or did I overlook one which can be downloaded already?

Hello Stu,

You can download the mac latest version of AxCrypt app from our official website: https://forum.axcrypt.net/download/  .

Go to download folder location right-click to open the AxCrypt app.

Now Alert(Can not open” AxCrypt-Mac-2.2.668.0.pkg “…etc.)it will show to your system, then to click open button in same Dialog box.

AxCrypt app starts to install in your system. After installing the AxCrypt app.

Starting AxCrypting……..without any issue.

Still, you are facing any issue, please provide more information about the issue and write a mail to support@axcrypt.net .

Thanks, that works now. But am I correct in seeing, that the mac version no longer offers free encryption of files?

Hello stu,

Without Premium in the AxCrypt Mac version, you can able to decrypt and view the encrypted files.

But you can’t able to encrypt more new files. If you want to encrypt more new files, then you need AxCrypt Premium.

I have updated my Mac to Catalina and I cannot open Axcrypt since then. I have tried to reinstall from the website, but I get a warning which tells me that the developer needs to update.

 

Can you advise?

As per the screenshot, you have downloaded and installed the Windows AxCrypt app version. that is the reason you cannot install the windows AxCrypt app version in the Mac system.

Please download the AxCrypt app mac version in our official website(https://forum.axcrypt.net/download/ ) filename(AxCrypt-mac-pkg)file.

After downloading the AxCrypt app Mac version, then install the AxCrypt app and follow the steps previous forums link.
