How to I get AxCrypt to stop putting file in onedrive

I have axcrypt light on 2 computers and it screws up onedrive because axcrypt keeps placing it’s whatever file in my one drive on BOTH computers, which makes onedrive go haywire and not sync giving me the message: cannot sync — there is already a file of that name what do I do?  Change the name of AxCrypt file on one computer each time I encrypt something????  Will that screw up something?

Hello Susan,

Right now, AxCrypt will re-create the “My AxCrypt” folder if you delete it. Just ignore it for now if you don’t want it, just like many ignore “My Documents” in Windows, which you can’t really get rid of either ;-)

If you let AxCrypt create it, then let Onedrive sync it between the devices there should be no further trouble. Onedrive is notoriously stupid about synchronization across multiple devices with folders.

Thank you.  And yes, Onedrive seems hopeless at syncing.  It seems one axcrypt on each computer and stops working instead of syncing.  I have a separate program for syncing, Sugarsync, but because axcrypt insists on placing the folder in Onedrive my sync program is no use.  I will ignore it.  Susan
