File sharing with conditions

Hi all,

I have this sort of situation going on:

there are three users, A(manager), B(accountant) and C(third party).

User B needs to send a crypted file to user A and C, and they should both be able to read it.

User A however should be able (if needed) to revoke access to the crypted files for user C.

Would that be possible? How do you set it up?

You can use the AxCrypt key sharing feature to encrypt your file(s), then key shares the file with other team member,  If they want to open the received encrypted file then we have to share the file password with them or the files should be key shared with receivers’ email addresses.

AxCrypt has a key sharing feature letting you add recipients by email address, who when they receive the file can open it with their own AxCrypt password.

Key sharing embeds the shared key into the file. The file must thus first be key shared with the recipient, then sent or file shared. Please note that AxCrypt does not share or send the actual file. Yes, You can also revoke the file shared access. After that, access revoked users will not be able to access the encrypted files.

But, if the user copied the shared encrypted file(s) from the shared file server to their local system, then he/she can access the copied local file. Because you were revoked the access for the original file which is in the shared file server but the user copied the shared file to their local storage before revoking the access.

Still, removed users do not have an access to the original file.
