    I recently had cause to change both my email address and password on both the local and online versions.

    They match.

    However every time I sign in online I get an error message “You are signing in with a local password instead of the online account password…etc……”  However I still get signed in having clicked the x in the top right corner.

    How do I stop this message appearing?

    I am using the latest free version of Axcrypt and have been a user for many years.

    Hello Dave,

    Please clear local content by using the below steps in the AxCrypt app, then you can use the latest password without any issue.

    Please try to clear the AxCrypt local contents by using the AxCrypt file menu File | Options | Clear All Settings & Restart or clicking the switch user button in the sign in dialog

    So, Please use your latest password to sign in with the AxCrypt app(internet enabled) without any issues.
