Can I decrypt Axcrypt encrypted files in a different PC or mobile device to that one in which the files were encrypted originally?

    Hello Dugover,

Yes, you can decrypt Axcrypt encrypted files on a different PC or mobile device. If you know the file password(which was used in the file encryption process) to decrypt/open the encrypted file. Otherwise, without file password, nobody to decrypt the encrypted file.

AxCrypt will allow the users to decrypt the encrypted file with the original password which is used for encryption.

If you have any queries/issues, please write to Support@axcrypt.net. We are happy to help you.

Yes, you can decrypt AxCrypt files on a different PC or mobile device, as long as you have the correct password or encryption key. I’ve done it myself – I simply installed AxCrypt on the new device, logged in with my credentials, and the files were accessible.
