    Hello,

I have to have a least 2 versions of some Excel files I’m receiving, and they all have to be encrypted : one that I don’t modify, and a copy with another name and that I do modify.

Unfortunately, when I try to open a copy of one of my encrypted Excel file in order to modify it, I get the message here attached which says the original file cannot be found (I try to attach a screenshot of the message but to no avail, whichever format I use). I still can work on my copy, but having to close down these messages is slowing me down.

What would be the way to solve that problem ?

    Sincerely

    Hello,

Instead of copying files I had downloaded, I’ve downloaded them again in another folder and encrypted them and I haven’t changed their names.

I still get the same message when I open them though. So it seems the problem has little to do with copying an encrypted file.

Then I’ve opened files of which I have only one copy and I get the same message. So I guess it’s also nothing to do with having several copies of one file on the same computer.

I guess it’s more a general problem about opening my encrypted files (I have no problem opening these files before they’re encrypted).

Axcrypt tells me it cannot find the file and then it finds but I still have that message on my screen, and, as I have to open many files to do my job, I have lots of messages.

    It’s quite annoying…
