Can`t open the files

I can`t open the files I encrypt! How can I reset the password?

Hello Juliana,

Unfortunately, if you do not know the password for an AxCrypt-encrypted file you cannot open it, even if you can sign in to the account. This is by design, it’s just this situation that AxCrypt is made for and it works like this even if you actually are the original owner of the file.

Je ne peux plus ouvrir mes fichiers, sauf ceux que j’ai crypté avant l’expiration de la version d’essai. Là, j’ai juste la version normale, et je ne peux plus les ouvrir. Que dois-je faire ?

Hello Laura,

There is no connection between the ability to open a file and having or not having a trial, premium or business subscription.

If you cannot open the files, it’s because of something else.

Please make a screen shot of whatever message you are getting, so we can understand what is not working. But it has nothing to do with the expired Trial!
