    Hi everyone,

I’m currently using AxCrypt to encrypt some sensitive files, and I’m wondering what the best practices are for securely sharing these files with others. Are there any specific settings or tips to ensure that the process is safe and my files remain secure throughout? Any advice on managing passwords and sharing them securely would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hello Freddie Ellis,

We have a feature called AxCrypt key sharing.

Please read our guide page here: https://axcrypt.net/information/guides/keyshare/

You can use the AxCrypt key sharing feature to encrypt your file(s), then key shares the file with other recipients/employees/partner or key shared encrypted file to send/share the network/server.,  If they want to open the received encrypted file then we have to share the file password with them or the files should be key shared with receivers’ email addresses.

There is no need to share passwords in order to send or share files securely with others. AxCrypt has a key sharing feature letting you add recipients by email address, who when they receive the file can open it with their own AxCrypt password.

To see a quick instructional video explaining how to use key sharing, please view https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUVWbmiEFSs

Please check our video tutorial for more information: How to use AxCrypt – YouTube and Get Started | AxCrypt – File Security Made Easy .
