It seems that I have an Axamtum Axcrypt folder and an Axcrypt folder. I am currently using AxCrypt 2.1.1560.0 Free.

Do I need both folders?? And if not, how to remove the appropriate one?

Your assistance in this matter is appreciated

Hello Forrest,

If you have AxCrypt 1.x installed (Axantum AxCrypt), just go to control panel and remove it. It should have been removed when installing AxCrypt 2 though. I am assuming you are referring to folders in “Program Files”.
