I’m a new user and rather liking this software – thanks.

Only one thing, once I’m logged in I’d like a way of automatically logging out, say, when the screensaver starts or after a certain period of non use, etc.

    Is that possible?

AxCrypt 2 does lock itself, and require re-entry of the master password, after the screensaver starts.

Using a screensaver when the computer is unattended is the most secure way of using AxCrypt. Think up of long, complicated, secure password with symbols, numbers and mixed case. Then use that as your master password.

Because AxCrypt 2 remembers your password (until you shutdown, log off, screensaver activates etc.) you’re able to use that one really secure password to keep all of your files safe without having to re-enter the password each and every time. It promotes good security because you’re not as likely to choose a weak password.

Just remember to use a password protected screensaver!
