Using axcrypt 1.7.3156.0.  We recently upgraded to office 2016 from 2010.  After the upgrade, we can only open 1 encrypted excel file at a time.  If we try to open a 2nd excel file, we get this error:

“Sorry, we couldn’t find C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Local\Temp\axcrypt1\random-axcrypt-folder\unencrypted-file-name.  Is it possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?”

Any assistance would be appreciated.  We would prefer to stick with axcrypt 1 as we preferred it over axcrypt 2.

Sorry, AxCrypt 1 is no longer supported.

    Hello Rob,

As Darrin says – we do not provide support on AxCrypt 1. The problem you describe is one of the reasons we’ve changed how AxCrypt 2 works, and included the “clean” broom icon.

If you tell us what your problem with AxCrypt 2 is, we can perhaps support you in either finding away around your problem, or convincing it’s not a problem ;-) or even change it if it’s something we agree could be done better!
