Hello,
I am using AxCrypt-2.0.1337.0.exe (portable) on a Windows 10 Pro (US English).
I understand that when I start axcrypt when it’s not running it asks me to log in with “Account Sign in” modal dialog.
I normally double click on .axx files and have them opened by axcrypt. The problem is, if axcrypt is not currently running, it gets started and I will get 2 *identical* “Account Sign in” modal dialogs and I have to input my password twice. The second dialog pops up about 2 seconds after the first identical “Account Sign in” dialog that I am inputting password.
I think you should NEVER pop up more than one modal dialogs under any circumstances, they may overlap over each other, sometimes interrupt user’s input, change input focus, and even worse, user may see the dialog which does not have input focus and cannot input anything before he manually switches to the dialog behind (by using alt-tab).
If you need ask two questions, pop up the first modal dialog, wait for user to finish it, then pop up the second one. Having many modal dialogs on screen causes great confusion.
And in this specific case, I don’t understand why you need to ask “Account Sign in” twice…
