Internationalisation and its importance

One of the topics discussed at STHLM TECH FEST 2018, in which AxCrypt participated, was: “How do Swedish startups think about internationalisation?” Let us interpret it personally and ask ourselves: “How does AxCrypt, as a Swedish startup, think about internationalisation?”

With our global market, and our diverse workforce, we can proudly say that internationalisation is an important part of AxCrypt.

More specifically, the workforce of AxCrypt expanded by our new intern, Elena Giannisi, from Greece. She came to Sweden 2 years ago to study International Management at Jönköping University. Elena will be learning and focusing on AxCrypt’s social media and digital marketing tasks.

We believe that a diverse workforce with different nationalities brings many advantages. Working with young people bring us new and creative ideas, and we learn from each other.

So, what’s the fun part, you’re asking? AxCrypt organised an after-work party, with the help of Elena, with the theme being… GREEK! OPA!

Password Reset

Help! I forgot my password

We often get the following question: “I forgot my password, how do I get access to my files?”.
To begin with, it is extremely important to remember your password. But why is that?

It is important for you to remember your password as that is the only guaranteed way to access your already encrypted files or folders. In any other case, you will lose access to files encrypted with that password. This also includes data in the online password manager.

A password reset only gets you back so you can sign in and continue using the app and the website, it does not allow you to regain access to files encrypted with the old password. Once you do remember your old password, you will be able to open and decrypt files encrypted with that password.
