    Hailey.Q

    Hi,

I’ve an AxCrypt 1.7.2931.0 file and I have the following error:

Decrypt and launch of “xxxxx.axx” failed,
The file does not appear to be produced by AxCrypt. GUID mismatch.

Is there any way to recover this file?
    Its very important to me!

    Thank you!

Unfortunately not. It seems like the file you’ve got has been damaged while on your computer.

Your only hope is restoring it from a backup.

The old version of AxCrypt is no longer supported. However you’re using a very old version – 1.7.3180.0 is the most recent (and last) version 1.7 software. You could try installing at and loading your file again but it probably won’t help.
